Private Occupational Therapy Evaluations

A pediatric occupational therapy evaluation examines a child's fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing/self-regulation skills and self-care skills. They are completed at a child's home or daycare setting. An evaluation uses standardized assessment tools and informal professional observation to formulate therapy goals.

Please reach for a free intake phone meeting prior to an evaluation if you have any concerns.

Private Occupational Therapy Sessions

Occupational Therapy sessions should be play-based and FUN. Since a child's main occupation is "play", all my sessions incorporate hands on play, movement based activities such as obstacle courses and gross motor activities, all while working on underlying skills and goals.
Sessions take place in the child's home or daycare to increase family-centered practice.

Handwriting Tutoring

As an occupational therapist, we are educated in the the underlying skill set needed for successful writing skills, as well as the components that make up quality handwriting. Pre-writing skills are so important and needed as a prerequisite for letter formation. I can teach your child pre-writing and handwriting components. Reach out for a free screening.
